Best Girl and Boy

Roston and Zoe have become really close. They are so cute. Yes they still fight some but they say to each other, "You're my best Friend." or "You're my best girl " "Your my best boy."

We raked some leaves the other day and they played in them.

Cranky babies

Last week they said that we might get snow flurries. I was kind of excited even for snow flurries. I told my friend that I wanted to stay up all night to see if it happens because I like the snow. The last time it snowed in Louisiana was Roston's first Christmas back in 2004. It snowed but did not stick to the ground. In Virginia we always got snow at least once a year. Well Wednesday night I did not sleep well and Dave and I ended up getting up around 5:30 or 6:00 am Thursday morning and for some reason we did not bother to look outside to see if it was snowing, but our friend Rebekah called and Dave's dad, and his mom I think called and told us it was snowing. We looked outside and by then it was coming down hard and it was sticking. So I told Dave lets wake the kids because it could stop and melt and they would have slept right through it. So we got them up around 6ish and they were not happy. But we bundled them all up and went outside. (This was before the sun had come up) Roston did not want to go out in the snow because it kept getting on his face. But we took pictures and they were kind of y and so we went in and had a Johnny Stafford breakfast (So yummy!! Country Ham, Rice, and biscuits.)

Well it kept snowing and around 8am our lights started to flicker. Rebekah called and said turn your heat up just in case we lose power. So we did. By this time the trees were covered with ice and snow. When we went outside you could hear trees ing and falling. Well around 9 am we lost power. The kids and I went out two different times. Dave stayed out the whole time. In the end we ended up not getting our power back on until Sunday Night ,but we got 8 1/2 inches of snow, we got to make a snowman and Roston and Zoe had a fun and Dave had a blast.

Zoe after the power went out. She had wet hair because we all took a hot shower after playing in the snow.

This year for Halloween we were cowboys and Indians. But most of us were Cowboys and Cowgirls. It was cute but not as cute as last years Wizard of Oz.

Wedding

I love this picture!

Roston did not want to keep taking pictures. So this is his stubborn face.

Dave, Roston, Zoe were in a wedding back in October. Roston and Zoe had so much fun at the recipion. Roston usually does not like loud music or dancing, but he surprised us. He has changed into a little man lately. He got into the middle of a circle of girls and started swinging his arm in circles. He had everyone laughing.

Zoe's new bling

Zoe got her ear's pierced. She had been asking us to but every time we went to go get them done she would say "No I don't want them." Well she was in a wedding and they gave her a necklace, earrings, and bracelet. Well she was the only one that couldn't wear her earrings and she did not like that. So after the wedding we asked her and she said "No" again but then she said "Yes." So we took her and when we were sitting down getting ready she says, "Its going to hurt." They were able to do both of them at the same time. She cried for like 20 seconds after until she picked out some orange nail polish and then she was fine. After she would walk around and say, "Aw so pretty." She is too cute.

Exciting News!

Well not everyone knows but we are expecting a baby in February. Yesterday I had a ultrasound and we found out that we are having a boy! We are so excited! Roston and Zoe can't wait. Roston keeps asking, "Is it February? Is the baby coming out?" He can't wait. Roston wants to name the baby Shad. Zoe wants to name the baby Wyatt. They are too cute!

This is the baby's face looking right at you.

This is the baby's side profile. He looks like he has Davids nose and ears maybe!

This is the one that told us it's a Boy! (hopefully you can read a ultrasound)

Fort Morgan, AL

We went to the beach with some friends the Rendines, Tassins, and Smiths. We saw dolphins everyday. The sand was white. We had fun! David had a lot of fun skimboarding and riding the waves in.
Zoe playing in the sand. We built tons of things in the sand:birthday cake, seaturtle, castle

Roston loved finding drift wood and throwing it out and letting the waves bring it back in
